Sandiaga Uno Becomes The Vice President With The Highest Electability Version Of The Charta Politica Survey

JAKARTA - The results of the survey "Reading the Political Situation and Electoral Constellation Post-Rakernas Projo" from Chartapolitika said that Sandiaga Uno's name shot to the first rank as a vice presidential candidate with the highest electability.

The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy earned 27.6 percent. This figure made him soar far beyond the other big names.

For example, the Governor of West Java, Ridwan Kamil, ranks 2nd with 16.5 percent. Also followed in third place is the name of Erick Thohir who now serves as the Minister of SOEs with acquisition of 9.8 percent.

Furthermore, in the other top 5, Agus Yudhoyono is in 4th place with 8.8 percent gain and then Khofifah Indar Parawansa is in the fifth position with 6.4 percent.

In the same survey results, the level of recognition of Sandiaga Uno also achieved a very high score with a score of 86.6. As well as a very high level of preference with a score of 92.2.

When juxtaposed with Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate, the Ganjar-Sandiaga pair received 36.7 percent of the vote.

While in the simulation of 3 presidential candidates, Ganjar won the highest electability with 36.5 percent. Followed by Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto with 26.7 percent. While in the third position, there is the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan with 24.9 percent. Meanwhile, those who did not answer and did not know were 11.9 percent.

"In a simulation of 3 names, Ganjar Pranowo got the highest electability with 36.5 percent", said Executive Director of Charta Politica Yunarto Wijaya.

In the previous Charta survey results in April 2022, Ganjar received electability of 29.2 percent. Yunarto said that the upward trend in Ganjar's electability was also reflected in several other survey institutions.

The Charta Politica survey was conducted from May 23 to June 2 2022 using the face-to-face interview method. Determination of the sample in the survey was carried out using a multistage random sampling method, on 1,200 respondents with a margin of error of 2.83 percent and quality control of 20 percent of the total sample.

This survey was conducted after the V Pro Jokowi (Projo) National Working Meeting which was held in the Borobudur Temple area, Magelang, Central Java, last Saturday, May 21. President Jokowi and Ganjar were present at the event.
