Propose Adding Two Criteria For Standard Inpatient Classes, Director Of BPJS Health: Hopefully The Regulations Are Mature And Comprehensive

JAKARTA - BPJS Kesehatan President Director Ghufron Mukti said that his party proposed two additional criteria in the regulation of Standard Inpatient Classes (KRIS) for National Health Insurance (JKN) participants. This proposal will complement the 12 criteria previously agreed upon.

“We propose two additional criteria formulated in the KRIS regulation, namely access to doctors and drugs. This is the essence of health services," said Ghufron through a press release quoted by Antara, Sunday, June 12.

According to him, JKN participants have the right to access health services while being treated.

"From the perspective of JKN participants, the urgency needed by participants is actually being able to access health services wherever they are needed, not standard classes. For respondents, the right to medicine and doctor visits is the most important thing in the JKN program. I hope that when KRIS is implemented, there must be certainty that the rights to medicine, doctor visits, and room availability are well guaranteed," he said.

His party asked the regulator to prepare the necessary regulations so that the implementation of KRIS runs well.

"We hope that the regulator provides mature and comprehensive regulations looking from various aspects so that the implementation of KRIS is not hampered by imperfect regulations or seems forced to run while regulations adjust, because it will have an impact on the quality of health facility services, the claim verification process by BPJS Health to convenience. JKN participants themselves," he said.

Ghufron also hopes that the National Social Security Council (DJSN), the Ministry of Health, and the Hospital Association can clarify the agreement on the definition and criteria of KRIS before being tested and implemented.

Previously at a Hearing Meeting (RDP) with the DPR RI some time ago, DJSN said that it had agreed on 12 criteria that would form the basis for the implementation of KRIS.

The twelve criteria are focused on the condition of non-medical facilities and infrastructure, namely inpatient rooms, such as ventilation conditions, room temperature, and density of inpatient rooms.
