Man's Body Found In Ubung Sewer In Denpasar Suspected Of Murder, 4 People Are Wanted By Police

DENPASAR - The body of a man found in a ditch in Pidada Street, Ubung, North Denpasar, Bali, is suspected to be a murder victim. There are 4 people who are being hunted by the police related to this alleged murder case.

The dead victim was found Sunday, May 29 morning by local residents. Near the corpse, there is also a motorbike. It is suspected that the dead victim came from East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).

"Yes, at first glance (the murder, ed). There are four people still searching," said Denpasar Police Chief Grand Commissioner Adjutant Bambang Yugo Pamungkas when contacted, Wednesday, June 1.

During the investigation, it is suspected that there was an altercation between the suspect and the victim. The four suspected perpetrators have been identified.

"Yes, there was a misunderstanding between them and they were friends. (The perpetrator) is still in the process (of arrest) and we have pocketed it," he said.

It was previously reported that when the body was found in the Ubung ditch, North Denpasar, there were wounds on the victim's body.

"There was also damage to the victim's head from the vehicle, the cause, and so on. Give our investigators time in the field to check," said Denpasar Deputy Chief of Police, Grand Commissioner Adjutant I Wayan Jiartana, Monday, May 30.
