The Debt Collector Who Pulls The Victim's Motorcycle Even Though It's Paid Hasn't Been Arrested

TANGERANG - Tangerang Police Satreskrim is still investigating the case of motorcycle theft by a group of men claiming to be debt collectors in the Tangerang area, Tangerang City.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit at the Tangerang Police, AKP Imron Mas'adi, said that his party planned to examine several other witnesses to reveal the perpetrators of the theft.

“It's still… still in the process of being investigated. Progress, investigators are looking for other witnesses," said Imron when contacted, Tuesday, May 31.

Regarding the victim's confession that the motorbike he was driving had paid off, Imron also confirmed it.

"It's really paid off," said Imron.

On that occasion, Imron also asked for time to disclose the theft case with the debt collector mode.

"So it's still running," he concluded.

Previously, it was reported that Doni Perdiansyah (21) did not move when his friend's red Honda PCX motorbike was brought by four men who claimed to be debt collectors.

Because when Doni was stopped by the perpetrators, he was shown a letter stating that his friend's motorbike with the number B3834CPRR was 5 months in arrears.

According to information from a relative of the victim named Deri, the incident occurred on Tuesday, May 17 at around 10:00 WIB on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, Babakan, Tangerang City.

Deri said that the incident began when Doni (the victim) was about to deliver his starter pack to his girlfriend Tania's boarding house, in the Ciputat area, South Tangerang, riding his brother's PCX motorbike.

After delivering the card, Doni returned to his home in Jatiuwung, Tangerang City. However, while crossing the crime scene (TKP), Doni was stopped by four large men who claimed to be debt collectors leasing Adira.

Deri just handed over the motorbike he was carrying. But in fact, the owner of the motorbike admitted that the installments had been paid off.
