A 19-year-old Youth In Ciracas Cries In Fear After He Was Caught Stealing A Motorbike

JAKARTA - A motorcycle thief (curanmor) cried in fear when his actions were caught by residents in Masjid Alley 1, Cibubur, Ciracas District, East Jakarta.

This 19-year-old youth without an identity had a chance to fight when he was about to be arrested. The perpetrator's action was carried out when the situation was quiet, Saturday, May 21.

According to Ayani, the victim's mother, the theft occurred when the residents wanted to pray Maghrib.

"When I was about to go out to buy orange juice, the motorbike was already taken out of the door. When someone saw the motorbike being taken, he (Ayani's son) jumped onto the stolen motorbike. The person was locked (arrested) like that," Ayani told reporters, Sunday, May 22. .

Even though the victim (the owner of the motorbike) has arrested him, the perpetrator continues to drive the victim's vehicle.

Luckily, the stolen motorbike stopped after hitting the wall of another resident's house.

"Arrested in an alley here, the perpetrator hit a wall. The perpetrator is still young," he said.

The perpetrator was finally taken to the house of the local RW head for questioning.

"The perpetrator was one person. My son shouted a thief, people came out. Then the perpetrator was tied up," he said.

Before launching the theft, the perpetrator was monitoring the situation by walking around the location.

The perpetrators took advantage of the quiet situation and then took action.

"In fact, what was taken by the Astrea Grand motorbike, the automatic beat street did not. The conditions at sunset were quiet," he explained.

For further processing, the perpetrators and evidence of the stolen motorbike were brought by the police to the Ciracas Police Station, East Jakarta.
