Executor Promised Rp200 Million Shoot Dead Makassar Transportation Agency Officer

MAKASSAR - From the reconstruction of the shooting case of Najamuddin Sewang, an officer of the Makassar City Transportation Service, it was revealed that the executioners were promised Rp. 200 million to kill the victim on orders from the perpetrator's brain with the initials MIA.

"What was promised was Rp. 200 million. Only Rp. 90 million was paid. This is in addition to the Rp. 20 million that was given first," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Makassar Police, AKBP Reonald Truly Sohomuntal Simanjuntaj on the sidelines of the reconstruction, reported by Antara, Friday, May 20.

From the reconstruction, the executor who shot the victim had the initials CH, an active member of the National Police. His colleague, SL, is also an active member of the National Police, helping to prepare Revolver-type weapons and vehicles and jackets.

Reonald said the initial Rp20 million that SL received from another perpetrator with the initials AS (a member of the Satpol PP) was ordered by MIA (Muh Iqbal Asnan), who was then Head of the Makassar Satpol PP, for operational costs prior to execution.

"That's Rp. 20 million for operational costs. Buy motorbikes and weapons in the market place. Next, hand over Rp. 90 million (after execution), but what we get is only Rp. 85 million," he said.

The incident began when MIA was having an affair with a woman R (an official of the Makassar Transportation Agency). However, MIA was burned with jealousy and hurt to find the victim in R's house, Grand Aroelapa Housing, Jalan Tamangapa Antang.

"From there, jealousy began to burn. But we did not delve into what R said. We only explored the initial emotions of the MIA suspect," he explained.

The MIA suspect then asked the other perpetrators who were his subordinates with the initials AS to find the executor to kill the victim. The next reconstruction will be at the Makassar City Hall Office.

There AS brought SL to meet MIA by plotting the assassination. It hurts because the victim has gone too far with R and has been warned many times to stay away from him, but the victim still keeps in touch.

In the subsequent reconstruction, MIA ordered two other actors, namely AS and SH, to throw eggs at the victim's house in Alauddin Mas Residential Housing with eggs and water in mineral bottles. The action in 2020 was suspected to be witchcraft but later it did not produce any results.

To finalize the plan, (in the next reconstruction) MIA summoned AS and other perpetrators, respectively SH (Dishub officer), SL, CA (executor) known to be members of the National Police at his residence on Jalan Kumala to vent, R was often harassed by the victim.

After the meeting, AS provided photos of the victims to identify them in order to facilitate execution, including handing over Rp20 million to SL as operational costs, buying motorbikes and firearms. The money was handed over next to the main suspect's residence.

"As has been stated, weapons are purchased on the market place, in cyberspace. The one who bought it was SL. The Rp20 million fund was to buy a motorbike and weapons. The police number on the motorbike also didn't match the original," he said.

After the facilities were available, SL then handed over a motorbike, weapons, along with an online motorcycle taxi jacket for CH to use so that he would not be suspected of following the victim while on duty until finally the victim was executed on Jalan Danau Tanjung Bunga by shooting right under the victim's armpit.

The police named five suspects, each with the initials CA and SL known to be active members of the National Police, SH an officer of the Makassar Transportation Agency, AS a member of the Makassar Satpol PP, and MIA the Head of the Makassar Satpol PP.
