Two Female Alfamart Waitresses In Bungur, Central Jakarta, Robbed With A Knife, Stole Rp17 Million In Cash

JAKARTA - The robbery took place at an Alfamart located on Jalan Letjen Suprapto IV, Bungur Village, Senen District, Central Jakarta. The perpetrator alone carried a sharp weapon and threatened to injure two female servants.

Senen Police Chief Kompol Ari Susanto said the incident occurred on Wednesday May 4, then at around 21:22 WIB. At that time, two Alfamart waiters were on duty.

Suddenly, continued Ari Susanto, the perpetrator came when the minimarket was empty and the shop was about to close. Ari said, the two servants were then tied up by the perpetrators.

"Tied up, no injuries. Millions were taken from the cashier," said Kompol Ari to reporters, Tuesday, May 17.

Ari continued, the perpetrator entered Alfamart and immediately closed the rolling door. At that time, continued Ari, the perpetrator pointed a sharp weapon at the victim. The perpetrator asked for the money that was in the safe.

"The perpetrator was wearing a helmet alone. Before running away, the perpetrator told him that he had a grudge against this type of shop, and then tied up the two shopkeepers," he said.

As a result of this incident, the perpetrators confiscated Rp. 17 million.

"The perpetrator is being chased," he said.
