JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan revealed Jakarta's long-term targets. One of them is achieving net zero emissions by 2050.

"The target for Jakarta is to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050, particularly through the sustainable mobility policy," Anies said as quoted in a written statement from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government on Monday, May 16.

"The sustainable policy is through the development of pedestrians, bicycle lanes, integration of public transportation modes, the target of electrification of 50 percent of the Transjakarta fleet by 2025, and the electrification of the entire Transjakarta fleet by 2030, and other related policies," he continued.
