Ahead Of The Vesak National Holiday, 67 Thousand People Travel By Train

JAKARTA - A total of 67 thousand passengers traveled by train via Senen Station and Gambar Station, Jakarta, ahead of the Vesak national holiday.

"There is a national holiday moment of Vesak Day, in total from May 13-15 2022, there are around 67,000 passengers departing from Gambir Station and Pasar Senen Station," said Head of Public Relations Daop 1 Jakarta, Eva Chairunisa in a statement, Sunday, May 15.

Apart from departures, added Eva, the return flow through the same two stations is still quite high. From May 4-15, there were 448,800 users arriving at Daop 1 Jakarta Area.

Eva ensured that tens of thousands of passengers departing or arriving at her place had met the requirements set by the government.

Nevertheless, he reminded KAJJ service users who are about to depart to pay attention to the train travel requirements to avoid the risk of canceling their departure because they do not meet the requirements.

The following are the complete requirements for travel by train that apply in accordance with the Decree of the Ministry of Transportation No. 49 of 2022:

1. The third vaccine (booster) does not need to show a negative COVID-19 screening result

2. The second vaccine must show a negative result, Rapid Antigen Test 1x24 hours or RT-PCR test 3x24 hours

3. The first vaccine must show a negative result of the 3x24 hour RT-PCR test

4. Not/has not been vaccinated for medical reasons must show a doctor's certificate from a government hospital and a negative result of the 3x24 hour RT-PCR test

5. Customers aged 6-17 years who have received a second dose of vaccination are not required to show a negative result of the RT-PCR or Rapid Antigen Test.

6. Customers under 6 years old are not required to be vaccinated and are not required to show a negative result of Rapid Antigen Test or RT-PCR but must have a companion who meets travel requirements.
