Ship Passengers To Sabang Who Are Not Transported Stay At The Port

BANDA ACEH - Hundreds of tourists from North Sumatra and several regencies/cities in Aceh were forced to stay at the Ulee Lhue Port terminal in Banda Aceh, because there was no ferry boat to Balohan, Sabang.

"The operation of the ship from Ulee Lhue Port to Balohan Sabang is until 23.00 WIB on Thursday, May 5, and those who are not transported stay at the Ulee Lhue terminal", said Ulee Lhue Port Coordinator Ismayadi in Banda Aceh, as reported by Antara, Friday, May 6th.

Tourists also take advantage of the waiting room as a place to just spread out a mat like a mat. They were waiting for the ship that left in the morning to Balohan Sabang.

Ismayadi explained that the departure of ferries and fast boats in the last few days has been increased to an average of seven trips per day.

In addition to the terminal, tourists who cannot be transported by boat to Sabang also take advantage of the port mosque to rest and sleep at night.

"Alhamdulillah, everything went in an orderly manner. And today the car toilet has been imported from BPBA", he added.

Meanwhile, Ulee Lhue Port officer, Ismail, said that some tourists who stayed overnight because they were not transported by boats also cooked rice and side dishes at the port complex.

"They also brought cooking and cooking utensils to the Ulee Lhue Port complex. Maybe that way, so that the expenses are more efficient", he said.
