As A Result Of Engine Disturbance, KM 37 Of The Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road Gets Stuck For 2 Kilometers

JAKARTA - There was a traffic jam on the Jakarta-Cikampek KM 37 toll road. The reason was that one bus had an engine problem.

"At 11.10 the bus was interrupted at KM 37," said the Director of Traffic when confirmed, Thursday, April 28.

As a result of the disturbance, there was a line of vehicles for 2 kilometers or to be precise, up to KM 35.

However, the problem has been resolved. The tow truck has been deployed to tow the bus.

The current condition of the traffic flow is gradually improving. That is, the vehicle starts running again after it had stopped.

"At 11.35 WIB, the bus was able to be evacuated," said Sambodo.

For information, the peak of the Eid 2022 homecoming flow will occur on April 29. However, the number of vehicles crossing the toll road continues to increase every day.

Wakapolri Komjen Gatot Eddy Pramono said the traffic flow on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road increased by 89 percent on the H-5 of Eid 2022.

"Earlier today, there was an 89 percent increase in the number of vehicles compared to yesterday," said Gatot.

With the increase in the number of vehicles, Gatot said his party would maximize the traffic flow scheme that was prepared. Starting from one way, odd-even, and contraflow.

"This of course continues to increase and of course we must prepare optimal security," he said.
