Forgive The Man Who Goes Viral For Threatening To Break His Neck, Bobby Nasution: Everyone Who Comes To This City Follows The Rules

MEDAN - Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution forgave the bespectacled man with the initials RP who threatened to break his neck.

President Joko Widodo's son-in-law understands the man's mistake. Moreover, the man is not a resident of North Sumatra.

"I'm sorry, before I was asked I have forgiven," said Bobby Nasution at the Medan Police Headquarters, Monday, April 25.

To the RP, Bobby advised to respect every rule set by each region when visiting. Bobby Nasution had no problem with the Acehnese man not recognizing him.

"All regions have their own rules, if you don't come to our city, follow the rules. For me, it doesn't matter who the name is, but follow the rules," he said.

Bobby Nasution did not deny that the viral incident made him angry. However, he explained that the anger was not due to threats, but parking attendants who were victims.

"The most infuriating thing is that our parking attendants are victims, either intentionally or not," he said.

Regarding this incident, Bobby Nasution emphasized that his party is focused on increasing the e-parking program.

"This is what keeps our program from running. My focus is only on the program, if you personally don't know it. So, if you go to Medan, use more E-tolls. If the contents are sucked in, ask for a replacement," continued Bobby Nasution.

Previously, in a viral video, the man with the initials RP arrogantly refused to pay for parking non-cash. Meanwhile, the E-parking officer emphasized the non-cash payment rules.

Hearing the words of the E-parking officer, the bespectacled man asked him to bring the boss who ordered the parking attendant.

"Send your boss to come here," said the bespectacled car driver.

"This is what Mr. Bobby (Mayor of Medan) ordered," replied the parking attendant.

"You call Mr. Bobby here, let me break Mr. Bobby's neck all together. Do you want? Or I just break your neck if you want," said the man in the car.

Arguing with an E-parking officer on Jalan Rahmad syah, Masjid Village, Medan Kota District, Saturday, April 23. After the parking attendant complained, the police arrested the man.
