Pretending To Be An AC Repairman, Robbers In Cipinang Muara Managed To Steal The Victim's Gold And Diamonds

JAKARTA - A gang of robbers came to a house on Jalan Aneka Elok Timur, RT 11/04, no 1A, Cipinang Muara Village, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta, Friday, April 22, afternoon.

The incident occurred at 11.00 WIB when the environment was deserted from passing residents.

From the victim's statement, Aditya (21), the perpetrators came claiming to be air conditioners. He (the perpetrator) pretended to have called the victim's parents.

"He said he called Mom, then I was told to show and check back to see that it was AC. Then I came back here, then he said (the perpetrator) took the tool first. I was told to see the condition of the AC again," he told reporters at the location, Friday April 22.

Aditya said, there were three perpetrators using motorbikes.

"One is wearing a helmet, the other is on a black scoopy motorbike. When I came back again, I was confused when they suddenly came out. When I saw it, the room was already a mess," he said.

The perpetrators managed to steal valuable items such as gold and diamonds belonging to the victim. After getting their target item, the perpetrators fled.

Meanwhile, the victim has reported the robbery case to the Jatinegara Police. The victim hopes that the perpetrators will be immediately arrested by the Jatinegara Police.
