Entering The Row Of 100 Cities In Indonesia With The Highest Antibodies, Tangerang City Mayor Asks Its Citizens To Keep Discipline In Health Protocols

TANGERANG - Tangerang Mayor Arief R Wismansyah revealed that Tangerang City is included in the 100 cities in Indonesia that have the highest antibodies in the fight against COVID-19.

This data is based on the results of a survey conducted by the Ministry of Health with the University of Indonesia's FKM pandemic team.

"Tangerang City is also the area with the highest antibodies in the Greater Tangerang area and also in Banten Province," said Mayor Arief in a written statement in Tangerang, Antara, Friday, April 22.

Sero survey is one of the methods used to determine changes in antibody levels in residents who have SARS-CoV-2 antibodies in selected districts/cities. From the results of a survey conducted, Tangerang City received a score of 92.6 percent from 273 samples. The survey activity was carried out in December 2021.

Then in the serosurvey which was conducted again in March 2022, Tangerang City was included in 21 regencies/cities in Java-Bali which are the origin and destination of going home with a total sample of 100 people in each area.

"In March 2022, it will increase to 100 percent as well as being the highest in the Greater Tangerang area," he said.

However, Mayor Arief still appealed to the people of Tangerang City to be consistent in implementing the COVID-19 health protocol until the pandemic status was determined to be endemic by the central government.

"Thank you for the cooperation of all elements in Tangerang City who take care of each other so that the COVID-19 condition can gradually improve," he said.
