TANJUNGPINANG - The Civil Service Police Unit and Fire Management of the Riau Islands Province participated in securing the Eid homecoming flow during the COVID-19 pandemic at ports and airports in Tanjungpinang City.

Head of Civil Service Police Unit and Riau Islands Fire Management, Hendri Kurniadi, in Tanjungpinang, Thursday, April 21, said 35 officers from the institution were deployed to secure the homecoming flow during the pandemic.

The members of the Riau Islands Civil Service Police Unit are tasked with supporting the smooth flow of homecoming while ensuring that all people who travel using public transportation during the pandemic remain orderly and always comply with health protocols.

The members of the Riau Islands Civil Service Police Unit who work at ports and airports, especially in Tanjungpinang, during the Lebaran homecoming period this year will coordinate with other authorized institutions.
