The Alfamart Robber In Jatake Pagedangan Has Been Arrested By The Police, The Employee Who Was Held Hostage Has Been Released

TANGERANG – The robber who took five Alfamart employees hostage was arrested. The police are currently taking the perpetrators to the Pagedangan Police Station for safekeeping. However, the number of perpetrators who carried out the action is not yet known.

The robbery took place on Tuesday, April 19, at around 23.00 western Indonesia time in the village of Jatake, Pagedangan, Tangerang. According to a witness at the scene, a number of perpetrators took action when Alfamart employees wanted to close the shop. At that time the perpetrator pointed a gun at the officers.

The robbery was accompanied by hostage-taking. Police officers assisted by Brimob tried to arrest the perpetrators. But the perpetrators defended themselves so that the police officers opened fire.

Dozens of residents gathered at the crime scene (TKP). Without any fear, there were residents who watched from close range even though the police officers opened fire.

Until now the case is still ongoing. The perpetrators are being detained by the local police.
