Pontianak Supadio Airport Establishes Information Command Post During Eid Al-Fitr 2022

PONTIANAK - Angkasa Pura II Supadio Pontianak Airport has anticipated a surge in passengers during the Lebaran 2022 homecoming moment. The command post as an information center was established at the airport located in the Kubu Raya area.

"In order to welcome Eid, we created a flight post which will be held from April 25 to May 10, 2022," said Executive General Manager of Supadio International Airport, Akhbar Putra Mardhika in Kubu Raya, quoted by Antara, Friday, April 15.

He also added that in the preparation of the post, his party was assisted by other parties in securing the post. Then it also prepares facilities to ensure the comfort and safety of the passengers.

“In anticipating the surge in passengers, we have opened the waiting room which was not fully opened before, so that it can accommodate more people. Then there are facilities that we provide, namely vaccine and antigen services," he said.

In anticipation of the surge in passengers ahead of Eid, his party will also increase operating hours at Supadio Airport.

This will depend on the number of passengers. His party predicts that this year's Eid there will be an increase in passengers reaching 20 percent. This is in line with the slowing down of COVID-19 cases both nationally and regionally

"We predict the increase in passengers ahead of Eid Al-Fitr 1443 H is around 15 to 20 percent compared to the previous year," he concluded.
