Satpol PP Seizes Firecrackers With Big Explosive Sounds

MEULABOH - Civil Service Police Unit personnel secured a number of firecrackers that had explosive power with a louder sound than a number of traders in Meulaboh, the capital of West Aceh Regency.

"The secured firecrackers have explosive power with a big sound, so they are disturbing the people who worship in the holy month of Ramadan," said Secretary of the West Aceh District Police and Public Relations Service, Dodi Bima Saputra, in Meulaboh, as reported by Antara, Thursday, April 14.

According to him, a number of firecrackers that were secured by the officers were found when officers were carrying out routine activities to a number of locations in Meulaboh.

During this activity, officers also checked a number of firecrackers sold by traders, and found firecrackers that had explosive power with a large sound.

Even though they have secured a number of firecrackers that can interfere with worship and public comfort, said Dodi Bima Saputra, the officers only gave advice not to sell the secured firecrackers anymore.

"So far we are still coaching traders, so they don't repeat the same actions again," he added.

Even so, officers will continue to conduct raids on every firecracker trader in West Aceh who sells firecrackers with big explosions and sounds, so that worship in the holy month of Ramadan 1443 Hijri is expected to take place safely and comfortably.
