JAKARTA - A total of 100,023 state civil servants (ASN) are planned to be relocated to the National Capital City (IKN) of the Archipelago in East Kalimantan. The relocation will be carried out in the span of 2024-2029 in stages.

"For the initial exercise for the demographic profile of the civil servants that we will transfer, there are a total of 100,023 ASN. This includes state officials, functional high-ranking officials in Jakarta and its surroundings who may be gradually transferred," he said.
Prahesti said that in the demographic profile of civil servants designed by the government, the displacement of 100,023 ASN will include 956 state officials, 3,264 high-ranking officials and 95,803 high functional officials.
