Joining As A Suspect, Nathania Kesuma, Indra Kenz's Younger Brother, Receives Rp9.4 Billion In Cash Flow

JAKARTA - The Directorate of Special Economic Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit has named Indra Kenz's younger brother, Nathania Kesuma, as a new suspect in the Binomo case. It is suspected that Indra Kenz's brother received a cash flow of Rp9.4 billion.

"Receiving a flow of funds from IK as much as Rp9.4 billion," said Karo Penmas of the Public Relations Division of the Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan to reporters, Monday, April 11.

From the results of the examination, the flow of funds was used to open an Indodax account. The account will later be operated by Indra Kenz.

"Opening an account on the indodax exchange, where the account is operated by brother IK," said Ramadhan.

In addition, Nathania is also known to have signed the documents for the house that Indra Kenz bought. The house is located in Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra.

However, no further details were given regarding the price of the purchased house.

"From the suspect NK, investigators confiscated 1 house unit in the name of NK, blocked the Indodax exchanger account and blocked NK's account," said Ramadhan.

Previously, the Criminal Investigation Department named three new suspects in the fraud case under the guise of investing through the Binomo platform. Now, there are a total of seven suspects in the case.

The three new suspects are the younger brother of Indra Kesuma alias Indra Kenz, namely Nathania Kesuma, Indra's girlfriend Vanessa Khong, and Vanessa's father, Rudiyanto Pei. They were named suspects because they received the flow of funds.

All three are suspected of being under Article 5 and/or Article 10 of Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning the Prevention and Eradication of the Crime of Money Laundering and Article 55 Paragraph 1e of the Criminal Code. Then, the three new suspects will be questioned on Thursday, April 14, 2022.
