Ali Mochtar Ngabalin Reports Fake Letters Cauting KSP Names To Bareskrim

JAKARTA - The Main Expert of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP), Ali Mochtar Ngabalin, visited the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, Thursday, April 7. He will report cases of alleged profiteering of names and institutions.

"Take my name. Then the two institutions and the letterhead of the Presidential Staff Office have the same stamp," Ngabalin told reporters, Thursday, April 7.

In the profiteering, the perpetrator is said to have sent letters to several parties. The goal is to ask for funds or donations.

In fact, said Ngabalin, KSP has never issued a letter intended to ask anyone for funds.

Moreover, there are many irregularities in the letter issued. For example, the name written in the letter and the position in the Presidential Staff Office.

"First he (the perpetrator, ed) uses a name, after all this name is in Arabic, my signature is Arabic, but it's not like this. Here he is writing Arabic, this person must be good at Arabic and then he can write, because his writing is very good, this signature," he said.

"Secondly, I am not a special staff. We are in the staff office as spokespersons and KSP experts," continued Ngabalin.

Then, in the letter, the party listed as the person in charge is himself. In fact, this matter is not within his authority

"The next one, we don't have the authority to issue outgoing letters, there are no regulations, there are no rules, now I'm very grateful, thank God, Mayor, I saw the interview, I thank you for appreciation," said Ngabalin.

In fact, there is also a letter addressed to a retired General of Police. It contained the appointment of the perpetrator as Deputy 3 KSP by using the signature of the Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko.

"This is a letter that was made up forging Mr. Moeldoko's signature, sending a letter to a retired police general," said Ngabalin.

In the reporting process, Ngabalin will attach some evidence. One of them, a letter that was forged by someone whose identity is not yet known. "We have printed this, here is the letter," said Ngabalin.
