The Head of the Central Java Provincial Housing Provision Work Unit, Wahyu Adi Satriawan said, the PGRI Semarang University Flats were built by the Central Java Provincial Housing Provision Satker, Directorate General of Housing, Ministry of PUPR, from 2020 to 2021 with the multi-year contract method.

The PGRI University Flats are built in one tower with a height of three floors and have 43 rooms with furniture such as study tables, chairs, beds and wardrobes as well as electricity and water lines.

The existing room units consist of 41 rooms and 2 rooms for people with disabilities. This flat has a capacity of 168 students.

Previously, in 2018, the PUPR Ministry had also built a tower tower for PGRI University worth Rp. 11.77 billion which is located not far from the current flat. The flat was built as high as four floors with 50 units of type 24 residential units.

PGRI University Chancellor Dr. Muhdi stated that the campus is very grateful for the construction of student flats from the Ministry of PUPR. This flat can also be a comfortable, clean place for students to live with cheap and affordable rent.
