"The Berkarya Party has agreed to join the Non-parliamentary Party Coalition," said Perindo Party Chairman Hary Tanoesoedibjo in his statement in Jakarta, Tuesday, April 5.
He said that in the 2019 election, the Berkarya Party ranked second after the Perindo Party for non-parliamentary parties, with more than 2.9 million votes or equal to 2.09 percent of the voters.
"We have also agreed to jointly submit a judicial review to the Constitutional Court so that the presidential threshold is approved to be zero percent. Congratulations on joining the Berkarya Party. Thank you, Mr. Muchdi," said Hary.
The Chairperson of the Perindo Party, Hary Tanoesoedibjo, initiated the meeting which became the forerunner of the Coalition of Non-parliamentary Political Parties. The total non-parliamentary political party coalition represented 13.6 million votes in the 2019 election. In details, the Perindo Party reached 3.7 million, the Berkarya Party 2.9 million votes, PSI 2.6 million votes, Hanura Party 2.1 million votes, PBB 1 million votes, Garuda Party 700 thousand votes, and PKP 300 thousand votes.
