North Sulawesi Receives Good News, No Addition Of COVID-19 Cases

JAKARTA - North Sulawesi (Sulut) received good news. There are no new cases of COVID-19 in this province.

"There have been no additional new cases so the current accumulation of COVID-19 has reached 51,251 people," said Head of the P2P Division of the Health Service, Dr. Steaven Dandel MPH, in Manado.

According to him, the status of the global COVID-19 pandemic has not been revoked by the World Health Organization (WHO). Therefore, vigilance must continue to be put forward in every activity carried out by the entire community.

"We hope that the awareness of individuals and communities to obey and be disciplined in implementing health protocols with the aim of taking care of themselves, taking care of their families, and taking care of others," said Dr. Steaven Dandel, Monday, April 4, quoted from Antara.

The accumulated recovered cases in the province with a population of more than 2.6 million people reached 49,487 after the addition of 44 people. The addition of most recovered cases came from Manado City, namely 38 people, Bitung City (four people), and North Bolaang Mongondow Regency (two people).

"The current cure rate has reached 96.6 percent," he added.

In addition, the accumulated death cases reached 1,164 people (there were no additional deaths) with a case fatality rate of 2.3 percent.

Meanwhile, 1.3 percent of residents are still receiving treatment due to COVID-19, or as many as 600 people.
