SERANG – As many as 12 thousand bottles of liquor (liquor) of various brands were destroyed at the Banten Police Headquarters yard, Friday, April 1. The activity was carried out by the Deputy Chief of the Banten Regional Police, Brigadier General Ery Nursatari, together with a number of scholars, and the Chairperson of the Banten Province Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) KH TB Hamdi Ma'ani.

"Banten Police today destroyed 12,000 bottles of alcohol of various brands, 357 packs of Ciu, 1 jerry can of Ciu, and the destruction of evidence of 32,0003 kg of methamphetamine. 1,592 ecstasy pills and 1,042 kg of ketamine." said Banten Deputy Chief of Police, Ery Nursatari, to reporters, Friday, April 1.

Ery explained that the items destroyed were the result of action in the series of Operation Pekat Maung 2022 which had been carried out for 2 weeks before the holy month of Ramadan.

"This liquor is obtained from various entertainment venues to places of sale, such as cafes, distributors, herbal shops that provide alcoholic beverages." continued Ery.

Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of the Banten Police, Kombes Shinto Silitonga, detailed the amount of alcohol destroyed today.

"Tangerang Police managed to secure 3,280 bottles of alcohol, 352 packs of Ciu, and 1 jerry can of Ciu, Serang City Police managed to secure 244 bottles of alcohol, and 5 packs of Ciu, Serang Police managed to secure 779 bottles of alcohol," explained Shinto.

"For the Cilegon Police, who managed to secure 2,520 bottles of alcohol, they were destroyed on Thursday, March 31, also at the Pandeglang Police, 8,000 bottles of alcohol were destroyed. Meanwhile, the Lebak Police managed to secure 779 bottles of alcohol." Shinto continued.
