Japanese Business Delegation Interested In Investing In Bali Health Tourism SEZ

DENPASAR - The participants of the Japanese business delegation are interested in investing in the Health Tourism Special Economic Zone (SEZ) project in Bali. Moreover, Bali is hosting the G20 Summit.

Young Diplomat for Economic Affairs at the Indonesian Embassy in Tokyo, Pandu Manggala Utama, said, in the context of the G20, several business delegations from Japan were very enthusiastic about establishing cooperation or investing in Indonesia, especially Bali.

"In addition, the plan to develop a special economic health tourism area to be built in Sanur is also an attraction for Japanese businessmen," said Panda in a written statement, Friday, April 1.

It is hoped that the Bali Provincial Government can facilitate this. "Then it will open up cooperation opportunities for business people in Japan and in Bali to jointly establish a business relationship," he said.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Governor of Bali, Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardhana Sukawati or Cok Ace, who received an audience from the Indonesian Embassy in Tokyo along with the Japanese business delegation, welcomed the investment plan.

According to him, Bali's relations with Japan have been established for a long time and are very good. Meanwhile, related to the current cooperation, such as health, agriculture, and renewable energy, it has become a major issue for the Bali Provincial Government.

"The development of the SEZ in Sanur is the authority of the Central Government. In addition, the agricultural sector is also a concern of the Bali Provincial Government, where Bali is currently intensively implementing an organic farming system, it is hoped that there will be good cooperation in the development of the agricultural sector," he said.

"Development of green energy is also a priority for the Bali Provincial Government, so that in the future Bali will become a clean and pollution-free Bali," he said.
