OTT Netted, West Java BPK Ensures 2 Auditors Who Extorted Health Facilities In Bekasi Dismissed

BANDUNG - The Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) Representative of West Java has confirmed that it has temporarily suspended two auditors with the initials AMR and HF from their duties as examiners after they were caught in a sting operation (OTT) in Bekasi Regency.

Head of the West Java BPK Representative Agus Khotib said his party supported the investigation currently being carried out by the West Java Attorney General's Office on the case. He regretted the actions of two individuals suspected of extorting a number of health facilities in Bekasi.

"We agree that if our team deviates and behaves badly, please process it," said Agus at the West Java Prosecutor's Office, Bandung City, West Java, Antara, Thursday, March 31.

Now the person with the initials AMR has been named by the prosecutor's office as a suspect. Meanwhile, HF was not named a suspect because he had not fulfilled two pieces of evidence and was returned to the BPK.

However, Agus ensured that he would conduct coaching in accordance with the code of ethics applicable in the financial audit profession. If the prosecutor needed further information, Agus confirmed that his party would support it.

"We have a code of ethics assembly to work specifically to provide guidance to these HF individuals," said Agus.

Meanwhile, Head of the West Java High Prosecutor's Office, Asep N Mulyana, said it was possible that there would be developments in the determination of other suspects at a later date.

Because, he said, now the investigators are still working to find other evidence that can support the investigation process. "If it turns out that we find enough evidence, we ask for accountability for those who participated in the criminal act of extortion," said Asep.

Asep also said that the extortion of a number of health facilities was the act of an individual. So, according to him, it is not related to the institution

CPC.

"And we will examine all matters related to how this crime occurred," said Asep.
