Police Investigate 3 Women Persecuting Minors Related To Online Prostitution Competition In Cempaka Putih Apartments

JAKARTA - Head of the Women and Children Services Unit (PPA) of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, First Insp. Arie Muratno, explained that the suspect in the assault with the initials IS (16) who was detained by the police was a woman.

"One woman has been arrested. There are 4 perpetrators, 3 people are still in search (DPO). They are all women," said First Insp. Arie when contacted by VOI, Wednesday, March 30.

Currently, the persecution case is still under investigation by the Central Jakarta Metro Police PPA Unit.

"There are 3 witnesses from that side. However, victim S (13) cannot be examined because she is still sick," he said.

Meanwhile, the PPA Unit is still investigating the motives of the suspects against the victim's initials, S.

"We are still investigating because there have been incidents of violence against children. This case is still under investigation. We will also check CCTV around the scene," he said.

The perpetrators are threatened with Article 80 of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 35 of 2014 regarding abuse or violence against children.

Previously, it was reported that an underage woman with the initials S, a resident of Bojonggede Depok, suffered a number of injuries as a result of the torture she experienced in one of the units of the Green Pramuka Apartment, Cempaka Putih District, Central Jakarta.

According to information compiled, the incident occurred at the Green Pramuka Apartment on March 25. The victim is currently still undergoing treatment at the Cibinong Hospital, West Java.

It was later discovered that the motive for the abuse experienced by the victim was due to competition in the open BO (Booking Order) sexual service business.

The perpetrators, who are suspected of feeling competitive, have the heart to abuse the victim, causing a number of injuries, such as burns to bruises on her body.

The abuse case was reported to the Depok Metro Police. After an investigation was carried out and it was found that the crime scene (TKP) was in the Central Jakarta area, the case was transferred to the Central Jakarta Metro Police.
