Not Accepting Burned Feet, Third Grade Elementary School Students Throw Glass At Playmates

JAKARTA – A horrific scene was caught on a CCTV camera installed in the Gedong area, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta. In the video footage, a child's legs are seen being burned by three of his playmates.

Based on the information, the incident occurred on Monday, March 28, at around 18.30 WIB. The victim is known to be a boy who is still in grade III elementary school, at a school in East Jakarta.

Before the incident, the victim was seen walking. And suddenly the victim was stopped by three of his friends. One of the perpetrators held the victim, while the other two perpetrators grabbed both legs and burned the victim's legs.

The Head of Pasar Rebo Police, Commissioner M Marbun, said when confirmed that the case was still under investigation by the police.

"We are investigating", Marbun said in a short message to reporters, Wednesday, March 30.

Based on the investigation, Giri (23) the victim's sister, said that her sister looked like she was joking with the perpetrators.

"You're joking, right, like pushing", said Giri at the victim's house in the Gedong area, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta, Wednesday, March 30.

Giri said because his sister did not accept it, the victim then threw the broken glass at one of the perpetrators.

"That small piece of glass hit the (perpetrator)'s hand. So the victim ran away wanting to go home, when she ran, the perpetrator approached", explained Giri.

Giri revealed that his brother burned his left leg until it was blistered from under the foot to the knee.

"I immediately burned it using a hand sanitizer", said Giri.

Giri said the three perpetrators each had the initials D, AS, and R, junior high school (SMP) students.
