COVID-19 Update As Of March 26: 4.189 Positive People Found, 10.943 Patients Declared Cured

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 128.971 specimens were examined with the results of 4.189 people being confirmed positive for COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 5.995.876 people and active cases have fallen by 6.861 to 139.143 cases," said Ministry of Health data, Saturday, March 26.

Today's recovered cases increased by 10.943 cases, bringing the total to 5.702.163 recovered people. Then, there were 107 positive confirmed cases and a total of 154.570 people.

The province with the highest new cases was in West Java with 878 cases. This brings the total to 1.095.018 cases.

Followed by DKI Jakarta with 796 new cases and a total of 1.234.197 cases. Then, Banteng with the addition of 366 cases per day.

Meanwhile, the province with the most recovered cases today is in West Java with the addition of 2.264 recovered cases.

Furthermore, DKI Jakarta with an additional 1423 recovered cases, Yogyakarta with an additional 1.251 recovered cases, and Banten with an additional 933 recovered cases.

In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens so far has reached 91.308.894.

"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week was 4.63 percent," he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 6.571 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

To date, 195.179.065 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 157.569.955 people have received the second dose of vaccination.

While the third dose of vaccination was 19.650.168 people. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208.265.720 people.
