PASER - The Regional Finance and Assets Agency (BKAD) of Paser Regency, East Kalimantan (Kaltim) is auctioning 36 units of four-wheeled motorized vehicles with an auction revenue value of Rp. 2.6 billion.

"Of the 38 units auctioned, 36 units have been sold and the auction winner has paid for it with a total auction income of Rp. 2.6 billion," said Head of Assets Division of BKAD Paser, Suhandoyo, as quoted by Antara, Friday, March 25.

This regional asset vehicle auction involves the Balikpapan State Property and Auction Service Office (KPKNL).

For two vehicles that are not sold at this stage of the auction, they will be auctioned again in the next stage together with the next auction for another 60 vehicles.

"We have scheduled the next stage of the auction to be carried out," said Suhandoyo.

According to him, the types of motorized vehicles being auctioned varied, but in general the most vehicles were in 2007.

Previously, in 2021, BKAD Paser auctioned 20 units of four-wheeled vehicles. Of this amount, 17 vehicles were sold with auction revenues of more than Rp. 1 billion.

"The remaining three vehicles that were not sold last year were included in the auction list for the first phase at the beginning of this year," he said.

He said the auction conducted by the Paser Regional Government was in the context of structuring state assets that were no longer used but still had economic value.
