Deputy Governor Of Central Java Taj Yasin: Santri Organizations Must Be Able To Continue To Grow

SEMARANG - Deputy Governor of Central Java Taj Yasin Maimoen asked santri organizations spread across 35 districts/cities in the area to keep up with the times and show their respective qualities.

"Student organizations must be able to continue to grow, so that they can become independent and dedicated organizations," said the deputy governor in Semarang, as reported by Antara, Monday, March 21.

In addition, according to him, santri organizations also need to modernize internally to face the Industrial Era 4.0.

"In connection with this, we together with a number of parties hold training and recitations that can really soothe all of us," he said.

Gus Yasin, the deputy governor's nickname, also reminded all students to want to be a stronghold for the community regarding the existence of radical ideas that trying to divide society.

"Students must set an example for society in countering radicalism because radicalism can potentially cause division in Indonesia," he said.

The United Development Party (PPP) politician asked the santri organization to always support the programs launched by the government.

"Various aspects in the community can be encouraged so that the program launched by the government is realized to the fullest. Therefore, collaboration needs to be taken seriously in order to maximize the positive impact of the program for the community," he said.
