KARAWANG – The Karawang Police are following up on the alleged case of domestic violence (KDRT) committed by FI against his wife FM in Krajan Hamlet, Klari District, Karawang Regency, West Java.

Aldi explained that this restorative justice involves the perpetrators, victims, and each of the families involved, as well as other parties such as relatives. According to him, this is done so that the couple can jointly create an agreement on a fair and balanced settlement of criminal cases.

Both parties, FI and FM, in resolving criminal cases, were turned into a process of dialogue and mediation, so that a mutual agreement was obtained. In its implementation, there is recovery for victims who have suffered as a result of crime by providing compensation to victims, peace, perpetrators doing social work, or other agreements.

Furthermore, the Chief of Police said that in its application Restorative Justice is not carried out arbitrarily but must meet the criteria, besides that a fair law in restorative justice is certainly not one-sided, impartial.
