Police Arrested ASN And His Beloved In Deli Serdang

MEDAN - The Pagar Merbau Police Criminal Investigation Unit Team, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, arrested a man with the initials L (42) and his girlfriend AR (20).

The two were arrested for allegedly dumping the baby from their relationship behind their rented house in Suka Mulia Village, Pagar Merbau District.

AR gave birth to the baby alone, without the help of others, at around 19.00 WIB, while her lover, L, was outside the house. The woman then dumped the baby behind her house about 15 meters away.

The poor baby's cry made local residents commotion. Residents who heard it immediately reported to the police and took the baby to the nearest clinic.

The Head of Pagar Merbau Police, Iptu IR Sitompul, said that his party who received the report immediately carried out an investigation.

At that time, the police were already suspicious of AR. Then, the police moved and searched the house where the couple lived.

"Then, during a search of the house, it was found that there were many bloodstains on some of AR's clothes," said Iptu Sitompul, Thursday, March 10.

The bloodstains, he said, were found scattered on the floor of the house to the bathroom of the house.

"AR admitted that she had given birth on Monday, March 7, 2022, at around 19:00. The child (that) was the result of an illicit relationship with L," he said.

Furthermore, the lovers were immediately taken to the Pagar Merbabu Police for further investigation.

Iptu IR Sitompul said the baby's condition was in good health. At that time, the poor baby was undergoing treatment at a clinic in Deli Serdang Regency.

"From the information from the midwife, the baby is in good health and has been given milk. The body weight is approximately 2 kilograms," he said.
