Dozens Of East Semper Residents Are Exposed To COVID-19

JAKARTA - Dozens of residents in 10 neighborhood associations (RW) Semper Timur, Cilincing, North Jakarta have been confirmed to be exposed to COVID-19, so they are currently undergoing independent isolation (isoman) in their respective homes.

Semper Timur Lurah Cahyo Hudoyo said that they consisted of two people in RW02, four in RW03, eight in RW04, four in RW05, two in RW06, one in RW07, one in RW08, two in RW09 and four people in RW11.

From this data, the sub-district then distributed aid packages in the form of basic necessities from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Social Service to 29 residents who underwent self-isolation (isoman) due to exposure to COVID-19.

"There are 29 aid packages containing basic necessities distributed to residents who are undergoing isoman," said Cahyo as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, March 9.

Cahyo said that the aid package distributed to residents of Semper Timur Village in 10 Rukun Warga (RW) contained twenty kilograms of rice, two liters of cooking oil, one carton of instant noodles and one can of biscuits.

The aid package, said Cahyo, was the result of a proposal for assistance from Semper Timur Village which was submitted to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Social Service.

He hopes that the aid package will ease the burden on residents while undergoing self-isolation.

"Their health continues to be monitored by the Puskesmas. Hopefully they can recover soon after going through the isolation process," he said.
