News Response Bambang Susantono Will Be Inaugurated As Head Of IKN Authority, PKB: Less Popular, No Excellent Record

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo is reported to have pocketed the name of the Head of the Archipelago IKN Authority. The head of the Nusantara IKN Authority is said to be inaugurated on Thursday, March 10.

Information regarding the inauguration of the Head of the Archipelago IKN Authority was conveyed by KSP Main Expert Wandy Tuturoong. Wandy gave a signal that the inauguration of the Head of the IKN Authority would be held this week.

The name of former Wamenhub Bambang Susantono was mentioned as the strongest candidate for the position. Another name that is also widely known as the Head of IKN is Bambang Brodjonegoro.

In response to this, the Deputy PKB Jazilul Fawaid, said that Bambang Susantono's figure was less popular. PKB also did not record Bambang's brilliant achievements. However, he said, that does not mean the figure is not good.

"The crowd is Pak Bambang Susantono, but I don't have a record of superior and brilliant performance. Yes (less popular), but that doesn't mean it's not good," Jazilul told reporters, Wednesday, March 9.

According to him, apart from being competent in his field, the Head of IKN Nusantara must also be like a 'superman'. "Those who are able to work hard 24 hours because the time is urgent," said Jazilul.

Even so, Jazilul admitted that PKB did not have a 'champion' figure to become the Head of IKN Nusantara. PKB, he said, completely handed over to Jokowi.

"It's up to the President," continued the Deputy Chairman of the MPR.

Meanwhile, the daily chairman of the Gerindra Party, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, admitted that to this day he had not received any information about the candidate for the Head of the IKN Nusantara Authority.

"Until today, we have not received any information," said Dasco at the DPR building, Wednesday, March 9.

However, the Deputy Chairman of the DPR hopes that President Jokowi will immediately appoint and announce the name. Because, the head of state only has 2 months to choose a candidate for the head of the IKN authority so that he can immediately carry out the construction of the new capital city.

"But I heard that this is an urgent need. Due to an urgent need, the president may immediately consider it so that everything can run, we support it," said Dasco.
