Application Of VoA Aka Visa Free And Without Quarantine Enforced In Bali, Ngurah Rai Airport Prepares 8 Counters

DENPASAR - The application of visa on arrival (VoA) or visa-free for foreign travelers (PPLN) including foreign tourists at I Gusti Ngurah International Airport, Rai, Bali has been implemented.

Stakeholder Relations Manager Angkasa Pura I (Persero) I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali, Taufan Yudhistira said that starting today, PPLNs who came to Bali were without quarantine as well as visa on arrival.

"From the airport side, we have prepared a route for visa on arrival. So, we have prepared four routes but with 8 counters. We have prepared the facilities for VoA," said Taufan, Monday, March 7.

The VoA examination was carried out after the PPLN, including foreign tourists, carried out a PCR swab. After that PPLN goes through immigration checks

"So there is indeed an additional flow. What is certain is that as before when they landed they checked their body temperature, checked the entry system, then checked documents by the Marine and Fisheries Ministry (KKP), took PCR swabs," said Taufan.

"Then the inspection at Customs and (after) they are done, confirm the hotel booking at the table that has been prepared. When it's finished they will get a bracelet and go straight to the exit point from where they go to transportation and take them to the hotel they booked," he explained.

There are two foreign airlines entering Bali, namely Singapore Airlines and Scoot Tiger Air. These two airlines are from Singapore.

"The planing pax is approximately 220 pax for Singapore Airlines (passengers). As for Scoot Tiger, it is still on stand-by, we have not received any information from the airline. The Singapore Airlines plan for departures is approximately 90 (passengers). As for Scoot Tiger, we have not received data," he said.
