JAKARTA - The suspect in the mutilation of an 11-year-old boy in Subing Jaya Hamlet, Rajabasa Lama Village, has been arrested by officers from the Labuhan Ratu Sector Police, East Lampung Police. The police arrested the suspect with the initials HA with the help of residents, Wednesday, March 2.

The suspect is now at the East Lampung Police for further development. Meanwhile, the victim's body is at the Sukadana Hospital, where identification is being carried out.

Chronology of Incident

This murder incident occurred on March 2, 2022, at around 04.00 WIB. At that time, the victim went to the field to collect durian. Arriving at the field, the victim met a colleague named Tama.

Zaky said after the two were separated and at around 04.30 WIB, the victim's colleague heard a scream for help coming from the victim's direction.

"The victim's colleagues then did not look for the source of the sound because it was dark", he said again.

At around 06.00 WIB, when the victim's colleague was about to return to his house in the middle of the trip, he noticed that there were bloodstains in the field where he passed.

The victim's colleague traced the blood and found a big toe lying in the field.

"Not far from the discovery of the big toe he found a corpse without a head", he said.

Zaky added that when he saw the corpse, he immediately ran to the village and informed the residents. Not long after, residents reported the incident to the Labuhan Ratu Police.

According to Zaky, at around 09.00 WIB, the East Lampung Police of Automatic Finger Print Identification System Team arrived at the scene to identify the victim of the mutilation.
