SURABAYA - Surabaya Mayor Eri Cahyadi gathered all health cadres at the Convention Hall Building, Surabaya City, Wednesday, to explain the news about the dismissals and delays in cadre incentives.

Mayor Eri emphasized that there was no difference between one cadre and another and no cadre was fired. The cadres who have contributed so far are still serving as members, while the three cadres who are included in the Decree (SK) of the Great Surabaya Cadres serve as coordinators.

"So, for the previous cadre members, as well as those with elementary school education, uncertified and elderly (elderly) members. So I say, these cadres are all the same, both coordinators and members, the incentive remains the same Rp. 400 thousand. I'm confused that some say that elementary school graduates are no longer used," said Eri Cahyadi, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, March 2.

Eri Cahyadi said that from the time of the previous mayor's leadership until now, the cadre has worked from the heart. All cadres are as great as the current cadres, even before that no cadres received incentives or transportation money.

At the gathering, Eri Cahyadi said that the intensive gift had become the responsibility of the Surabaya City Government as a form of appreciation for the cadres.

"Because of the appreciation of the city government, it rose from Rp. 25 thousand, then when I was the Head of Bappeko it rose again to Rp. 50 thousand, then there were Rp. 100 thousand. But individually, depending on the decree of each head of service. His name is elementary and middle school graduates," he said.

Regarding the late disbursement of incentives for cadres, which has recently become a hot topic of discussion, Eri said that delays in disbursing incentives are common at the beginning of the year because they have to wait for the incoming Regional Original Revenue (PAD) budget.

Eri Cahyadi advised the cadres, the first is for cadres who have been included in the previous year's decree, are still part of the cadres in Surabaya. Meanwhile, what is included in the 2022 decree will become the coordinator for the previous cadres to facilitate coordination.

In addition, Eri Cahyadi said that there were no restrictions related to the education and age of cadres. Meanwhile, the cadres who become one in each RT will later be tasked with helping convey residents' problems to the lurah and sub-district.

If later the cadres have entered the Great Surabaya Cadre, he said, then there will be no more barriers between one cadre and another which is regulated in the Surabaya Mayor Regulation (Perwali).

"I am sure and Panjenengan (you) convey to the cadres in Surabaya, if it was included in the previous decree, then today they will still be great cadres in Surabaya. please everyone, I don't want to hear anymore anyone asking for rights. It's the government's obligation to give appreciation to these great cadres," he said.
