Jepara Police Arrest 2 Perpetrators Of Sexual Abuse Of Teens Forced With Alcohol

JEPARA - The Jepara Police Team, Central Java, arrested two perpetrators named Rohman (22) and Fikar (21) residents of Kedung District for allegedly molesting children.

"The two perpetrators were arrested at their respective residences without any resistance," said Jepara Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKP Muhammad Fachrur Rozi in Jepara, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, March 2.

The arrest of the two perpetrators, he said, after the police received a report from the victim's family.

The incident occurred on February 18, 2022 at the house of suspect Rohman in Kedung District. The victim, who was 16 years old, was invited to the house of NK, who is the younger brother of suspect Rohman, in Kedung District.

After the victim arrived at NK's house, then the victim was left to work by NK so that the victim was accompanied by the perpetrator Rohman who was NK's brother.

Meanwhile, the perpetrator Rohman and his friend Fikar were drinking liquor. The victim was forced to join the drink so drunk and entered the room.

The two perpetrators committed sexual abuse by using the victim who was in a drunken state.

For their actions, the two perpetrators violated Article 81 and/or Article 82 of Law Number 17/2016 concerning Child Protection, which carries a maximum prison sentence of 15 years.
