Drunk, Man In Bali Beats His Stepfather Until He Breaks His Tooth

TABANAN - I Made Rista Adi Saputra alias Bogel (22) was arrested by a team from the East Paradeg Police for beating his own stepfather, Busaeri (30).

"The victim is her stepfather", said the Head of the East Selemadeg Police, AKP Ni Komang Sri Subakti, Wednesday, February 23.

The incident occurred in Gunung Salak Village, Selemadeg Timur District, Tabanan Regency, Bali, on Sunday, February 20.

At that time, the victim had just returned from Batuaji, Tabanan, taking one of his children for treatment with the victim's wife. However, when he got home, the victim was asked to take the perpetrator to Bajera.

But because the victim was tired, the victim asked the perpetrator to ask his brother for help to take him to Bajera. But the perpetrator said his brother was not at home.

Suddenly the perpetrator got angry with the victim and abused the victim. The victim's head was injured and the victim's teeth were broken.

"At the time of the incident, the reported (perpetrator) was drunk and smelled of liquor. The victim reported it to the Selemadeg Timur Police", said Sri Subakti.

The police then arrested the perpetrator at Senggol Bajera Market, Tabanan. The evidence that was secured was a broken beer bottle that was used to persecute the victim.

"The modus operandi is that the perpetrator is drunk and angry at the reporter who doesn't want to take him to Bajera", he said.
