MAKASSAR - The Tourism Office and the Regional Tourism Promotion Agency (BPPD) of South Sulawesi launched a direct flight or Makassar - Lombok - Makassar to make the MotoGP event a success at the Pertamina Mandalika International Street Circuit, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).

It is planned that the first flight from Makassar to Lombok will take place on March 9, 2022 and from Lombok to Makassar on March 8, 2022. Using Wings Air airline from Lion Air Group.
Chairman of the Regional Tourism Promotion Agency (BPPD) of South Sulawesi Andry S Arief Bulu, said that the opening of this direct flight was a follow-up to the collaboration between BPPD of South Sulawesi and the Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) at Sirkut Mandalika, Central Lombok Regency, January 11, 2021.
