JAKARTA - The Indonesian House of Representatives of Plenary Meeting officially ratified the names of the 12 elected members of the General Election Commission (KPU) and the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu), Friday, February 18. The names chosen are the results of the fit and proper test held by Commission II of the House of Representatives from Monday, February 14 to Wednesday, February 16.

Commission II of the House of Representatives chose the names of seven KPU commissioners and five Bawaslu members in a closed deliberation held on Thursday, February 17. Chairman of Commission II of the House of Representatives, Ahmad Doli Kurnia, submitted a report on the results of the selection of KPU and Bawaslu Commissioner Candidates for the 2022-2027 Period. The following are seven KPU members and five Bawaslu members for the 2022-2027 period who have been selected by Commission II of the Indonesian House of Representatives.
