JAKARTA - The construction and investment BUMN, PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) is again trusted by the Ministry of PUPR to build the Way Sekampung Package 3 Dam.
The contract signing ceremony was held at the Mesuji Sekampung River Basin Office in Bandar Lampung on Wednesday 9 September. Apart from being done face-to-face, the signing ceremony was also done virtually.
At the signing ceremony for the Cooperation contract, SVP Infrastructure 2 PTPP Pande Ketut was also present to represent the company. Meanwhile, the Ministry of PUPR was attended by the Head of the Mesuji River Basin Sekampung Abdul Muis.
Previously, PTPP was entrusted with working on the Way Sekampung Package 1 Dam construction project in 2015. Success in carrying out the work in Package 1, PTPP was again trusted by the Ministry of PUPR to rebuild the Sekampung Package 3 Dam.
The Way Sekampung Dam project, which is owned by the PUPR Ministry, is located in Pringsewu Regency, Lampung Province. The construction of this project is funded by the APBN and carried out with an implementation period of eight months.
The scope of work carried out by PTPP in Package 3 includes preparatory work, olak pond work, left access road work, hydropower access road work and clearing of inundated areas.
With the Way Sekampung Dam, it is hoped that it can meet the needs of raw water supply, irrigation water, flood control, and even become a new tourist attraction in the city of Bandar Lampung.
