BANDUNG - West Java (Jabar) Governor M Ridwan Kamil hopes that the public prosecutor will take maximum legal action after the life imprisonment sentence handed down by the Bandung District Court (PN) on the defendant in the rape case against 13 female students, Herry Wirawan.

"Determine that from the prosecutor who has fulfilled that much. So if it is not according to the prosecutor's demands, hopefully the prosecutor will take further legal efforts, so that it is maximized again as demanded by the prosecutor (death sentence, ed)," said Ridwan Kamil, in The city of Bandung was reported by Antara, Tuesday, February 15.

Meanwhile, regarding the judge's decision which stated that the cost of compensation for children who were victims of forced abuse by Herry Wirawan was borne or borne by the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, Ridwan Kamil said that basically the West Java Provincial Government has a protection program for children in the Women's Empowerment Service. "The future of these children must be saved. So all protection and assistance have been prepared, so that they can be independent according to their aspirations, then start a family," he said.

Ridwan Kamil said the West Java Provincial Government would also continue to monitor the psychological development of the child victim of forced abuse Herry Wirawan so that there would be no trauma while living his next life.
