5.2 Magnitude Earthquake Shakes Sangihe Islands

JAKARTA - An earthquake measuring 5.2 magnitude (M) rocked the Sangihe Islands, North Sulawesi, on Friday at around 21.25 WIB.

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reported that the epicenter of the earthquake was 267 km northwest of Tahuna, Sangihe Islands, at 5.77 degrees North latitude and 124.43 degrees East longitude with a depth of 10 kilometers.

There have been no reports of the impact of the Sangihe earthquake.
