Makassar City Regional Secretary Muh Ansar in a circular issued on Friday, February 11 said the temporary closure of the City Hall Office was to prevent the spread of COVID-19 among employees.

In circular letter number 011/48/S.edar/BU/2022, the closure of the City Hall Office will be carried out from Monday 14 February to 16 February 2022. Employees are asked to continue working from home.

During the closing of the office, a team from the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) will spray disinfectant to prevent droplets from sticking in public places. .

"All ASN and non ASN must activate their cellphones so they can keep in touch. Even though the office is temporarily closed, work will still be carried out from their respective homes," he said.

In the circular letter, Ansar also asked the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) to carry out security at Makassar City Hall, as long as the closure was enforced to ensure office security.

"Makassar City Hall will be closed from February 14-16, 2022," he said.
