Mom Enjoys Going With Girlfriend For A Week And Leaves Her 3-Year-Old Child At Home Until He Dies

JAKARTA - Maybe it doesn't make sense because what this 26-year-old woman is doing is beyond common sense. But this is a true story with a very sad ending.

The girl's name was Saki Kakehashi. He had the heart to leave his three-year-old daughter alone in an apartment in 2020. Worse yet, his daughter, Noa, was left behind for a week.

Yes, a whole week, Noa had to fight alone. 7x 24 hours Noa is in the apartment in the Ota Ward area without being accompanied by anyone.

So where did the mother go? The fact can make us emotional, as reported by Japan Today, Friday, February 11th.

Saki Kakehashi spent a week in Kagoshima with her boyfriend. Saki Kakehashi's way of thinking at that time was, Noa will be fine.

Maybe Saki Kakehashi forgot that her daughter wasn't a 17 year old who could survive on her own.

When he arrived back at his house June 13, 2020, Kakehashi panicked to find Noa not breathing. He then called an ambulance and took Noa to the hospital.

As a result, Noa did die. He was unable to survive because he was severely dehydrated on an almost empty stomach.

Doctors also found a rash on her bottom because her diaper didn't seem to be changed for a long time. Prosecutors claim Kakehashi tried to hide the fact that Noa was left alone by applying ointment to the rash on her butt and changing her to a new diaper right before she called 119.

Prosecutors said that before leaving for Kagoshima, Kakehashi barricaded Noa inside the living room with a sofa blocking the entrance to the kitchen. Kakehashi said he did this to prevent Noa from hurting herself with a knife or other kitchen item.

Noa had not attended the daycare center for more than a year before her death. Kakehashi lives alone with his daughter after divorcing Noa's father in 2016.

Prosecutors also said that Kakehashi often left Noa alone at home when she went to bars and pachinko with her friends.

The Tokyo District Court has sentenced Kakehashi to eight years in prison for parental negligence that resulted in his daughter's death.
