The Action Of Middle School Students With Sharp Weapons In Ciracas, Attacking Each Other In The Crowd

JAKARTA – Another student brawl occurred on Jalan Raya PKP, Ciracas, East Jakarta. The incident occurred in the afternoon when traffic on the road was busy. The students were seen carrying sharp weapons.

The Head of Ciracas Police, Kompol Jupriono, said the brawl involved around 15-20 students. The incident occurred in the afternoon around 16.00 western Indonesia time.

Jupriono said that the Bhabinkamtibmas of the Ciracas Police, who were on patrol, first dispersed, before finally, the two groups of students attacked each other.

"It seems that in my Bhabinkamtibmas video it doesn't exist, even though, yesterday why did he immediately disband? Because Bhabinkamtibmas was the one who disbanded them. So there was no time for clashes," said Commissioner Jupriono to reporters, Thursday, February 3.

The police chief said that because the perpetrators had fled and spread out while being chased by Bhabinkamtibmas, none of the perpetrators had been arrested.

"There hasn't been a (brawl) and my members have disbanded, no one has been arrested, (the perpetrators) seem to be in junior high school," he said.

Furthermore, the Sector Police Chief said that his party routinely conducts patrols at points prone to student brawls in the jurisdiction of the Ciracas Police.

Patrols are carried out when students go home from school, namely at 12.00 western Indonesia time and 16.00 western Indonesia time until 17.00 western Indonesia time.

"Bhabinkamtibmas and members of the patrol are indeed mobile and routine for us if that afternoon I have directed them to anticipate that the children disperse from school like in the afternoon, they will definitely be in the field," he said.
