DVI Police Successfully Identify 5 Victims' Bodies At Karaoke Double0 Sorong, Here's The List

WEST PAPUA - The DVI team at the National Police Headquarters has re-identified the five bodies of the burning karaoke Doubel0 in a dispute between two groups of residents in Sorong City, West Papua, on January 25, 2022.

Previously, the DVI Team had identified five bodies so that a total of 10 of the 17 bodies of victims of the Doubel0 karaoke burning had been identified by the police.

The Head of Public Relations of the West Papua Police, Kombes Adam Erwindi, said there were still seven bodies of victims of the Doubel karaoke burning in the identification process.

"The seven bodies of the victims suffered serious burns, so they are checking the DNA of the victims' families and are still waiting for the results," he said in Sorong, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, January 2.

Similarly, the Head of the West Papua Regional Police, Kombes Bambang Pitoyo Nugraha, added that the five newly identified bodies were those with antemortem code 017 for Ananim Lovalia from West Java. Victims were identified based on dental examination, medical records, and property belonging to the victim.

The next body with antemortem number 011 in the name of Ridwan Dodo from Sorong City. Victims are identified based on medical examination and property belonging to the victim.

Furthermore, the corpse with the antemortem number 001 in the name of Widyanti Arista Anuggrah from South Sulawesi Province. Victims are identified based on medical examination and property belonging to the victim.

The fourth body with antemortem number 006 in the name of Nur Kalsum from South Sulawesi Province. Victims are identified based on medical examination and property belonging to the victim.

The fifth body with antemortem number 012 in the name of Arum Ainun Yakin from Bandung, West Java province. Victims are identified based on medical examination and property belonging to the victim. He added that there were still seven victims who were still in the process of being identified.
